looking at the rate of increase of members i recon by the end of Feb we will have in the vicinity of 1000 members,

I recon its time we started a post about the aulro stickers, has anyone been spoken to yet / asked about them.....

has anyone given out the "AULRO" cards yet?

Actually i've been meaning to organise to buy a couple of stickers recently. After I get back perhaps.

The little tabs I have put under a fer winscreens, but I think that they are too small, and a little blurry. A redesign might be needed I think.

I usually carry a couple in my walet to put under winscreens, not ideal, but with any lick it might yield a few members.

I would be happy to assist with its design. I have 18 or so years exp as a novice designer (spare time stuff). Perhaps we could even ask members to contribute designs or ideas then we vote on a final one.

Cards or flyers to place under windscreens could elicit a few new members or perhaps even enemies depending on how people feel about having to collect things placed there as they drive off down the road.

If there's a sticker to be done ... count me in to assist.

also whats do you recon about oil change stickers, that would put AULRO on the front of vehicles - something like the "wave and be waved at stickers that one of the LR mags was pushing...... that way when i wave at other landrover owners they mightnt just give me a strange look....

my girlfriend and i play this gave when we go away its called spotto landrover , its played along the lines of "punch buggy" where the sighting person gives the other a tap (cos if i punched her id break her and i dont hit gurls) if ya call a vehicle that isnt a landrover you lose a point, we play this the whole time we are away culminating in bet landrover spotter of all time playoff on the last day...

i know im weird right !

I have the same problem now I have moved.

Down south the water crossing's HAD WATER in them, up here you have to go hunting for the water and when you find it the rim's hardly get wet.

OR

You find it and it washes your Disco down river because there is so dam much of it.

Ended up being a big wind. did wash out some road's and flooded the main highway, we had about 10 water crossings on the trip up. nothing to deep but.
