Sorry for the title, disco inspired
Question? --- How many K's will the average 200tdi or 300tdi do before its spits the dummy. Subjective I know but Im just after ball park figures of what to expect given proper maintenance.
Reason I ask is im shopping around for a disco to take with me to Isa for two years. the higher the k's the cheaper the ride. The range im seeing at the moment for a mid nineties beasty is from 130,000 up to 220,000. Are they like my falcon, neading new rings by 300,000 or do they go the full mile generally.

Sold my 300 1994 TDi with 244,000 ks. Still going strong.

I think regardless of the mileage, if the car has been properly serviced, you should be fine,,

The 200tdi AND THE 300tdi ENGINE will do a lot of hrs but the perifers wont ie brake, clutch, raditor , gear box , joe box etc wont they will need repairs before the engine wears out this could be from 125000 ks to 200000ks all depends on the type of klos that they have done
