Just bought a series 2a I think

Hi all just bought a series 2a , or that's what it says on the manufactures plates.
On looking through series 2a pictures the headlights are on the fenders on the Landy I bought headlights are on the grill panel.... What is it ? Thanks

Can be in either place on a 2a.
It depends on what year it was manufactured.

The IIa has a steel dash and the III has a padded dash.

My favourite Series landy is the wide headlamp SIIa, then they mucked up the most reliable gearbox with the SIII all synchro one. :mad:
