Looked back and found this, may help resolve this issue a little.

I have two car seats in my 110, and I just achor the seats to the existing seatbelt achors on the floor (is that not compliant??) I thought that's as good as any achor point, no?

Rules probably change from state to state, just to make it frustrating for everyone.

What position are you talking? Forward facing, or still lying in reverse? And one, two or three?
I found that (not in a defender, but a dual cab) that it came down to the number and required position and juggling them depending on what we required at the time, in the end I struggled with width more than anything.

By the time I get it
1 will be in a booster seat and the other one will be forward facing

I have two 'baby' seats in my 130, both forward facing. My boys are 6 & 4. No problem with room in the back aside from the 4 YO giving me the occasional kick in the back of the seat :censored:

I have a 2010 130. My wife was just like yours but the now 7 and 3 yr old have never had any issues (the 3 yr old initially as a bub in the reverse facing setup). I looked everywhere for someone to do the job in Newcastle/Sydney but most were asking too much coin. I then happened along a local mod that does modifications for the disabled and for $400 from memory got engineer certified rail and hooks put in behind the rear seats. Can grab some pics if you need.
