Well, we bought a house ! https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2013/11/1449.jpg (Will be broke now though... https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2013/11/1450.jpg )
Anyway I am currently on a $60 p.m plan with internode. And they've been good but I am thinking there are probably better options out there now ?
Sadly no NBN access so will have to be ADSL2+ I presume.
ANy ideas ?

Try TPG, they have always been good to me for the last 10 years or so,
1993 Discovery 1 3.5l
2" Lift, Cranked HD Trailing Arms
31" Maxxis Mudders
Tons of Radios, Tons of Spotlights

Also - Who has a home phone bundled with internet? Why?
For several years now I haven't used a landline - making do with my mobile. I get a few big bills now and then but reckon its still cheaper than paying the extra $30 per month for a bundled landline (which uses VOIP anyway)

I've been happy enough with internode (no dramas anyway) so may just be easier to move across with them....

+1 for internode, or these days iinet they now both share the same back end infrastructure thanks to the reverse takeover ;)
Here is a very handy search tool to find and compare internet plans:
Plan Search - Broadband Choice (http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/bc/?action=search)

Some exchanges aren't equipped to provide naked DSL, including mine :-(
As you may recall, I was with internode, and whilst the service was great, TPG provide me with more bang for buck IMHO.

Ive emailed internode to check whether I can use them still. If so thats easier I reckon!

Not necessarily. With ADSL relocations, it's virtually the same as disconnecting as reconnecting, ie starting from scratch.

Been with TPG for about 6 months, seems great.
Included home phone, (and I haven't had one for about 5 yrs), unlimited downloads, good speeds, good pricing.

I've just recommended this deal to my folks:
Broadband Internet Bundles - Phone, iiNet TV with Fetch & Mobile - iiNet (http://www.iinet.net.au/bundles/campaign)
$80 for 100GB plan, line rental and ALL standard phone calls including calls to mobiles (all within Oz)
And in case you weren't aware - iiNet bought out Internode sometime back..

Im currently paying 60 p/m and would prefer to pay LESS rather than more....
That is a good deal though I reckon.
And yes I knew Cheers

I wasn't sure if your $60p/m included line rental and landline/mobiles calls..

Hey Vlad,
Does your new place have phone sockets already installed.
If so plug a phone in and dial 127 22 123 It will give you the previous number that was at that location. Give that to your ISP of choice and it will let them work out exactly what they can give you.
Bracken Ridge is a pain. It doesn't actually have it's own exchange is is covered by 1 of 3 exchanges (SANDGATE, BALD HILLS, APSLEY)
Which one of these you are connected to will determine where you will get the best deal.
iiNet and node are in BALD HILLS, APSLEY but not Sandgate. While TPG is in Sandgate but not Bald Hills etc.
If ya want pm me the number you get and I can take a look for you.(I work in the Backend of iiNet/Internode)

The internode site lets you search by address - that address is served so all good.
Current owners just got back to me and tell me they have TPG.
So both options good.
I've emailed both companies - will see who gets back to me first !
Thanks all.
