Or, "Why I don’t Like AULRO" depending on how fussy you are with spelling.... :)

Two hours ago I thought I nearly finished all of my latest projects on Bert (my Defender).

Finally, I thought, no more trips to the Post Office to collect parcels with components and bits I’d bought on-line. No more clambering around underneath the car getting covered in dust and dirt. No more tool/bodywork related cuts and grazes. I can relax in the evenings. And save money! Hurrah!!

I was happy.

However, after a couple of hours of idle browsing the forums I now have more projects and updates that I want to do to Bert. Things I hadn't even previously considered or thought important or worthy enough to bother with, are now on my "What to do in my evenings" list.

This will mean that once again I am making trips to Post Office to collect parcels, getting covered in dust and dirt, spending money, losing blood and certainly not 'relaxing' in the evenings until all the projects are complete.

It’s bad enough that AULRO assists me in finding out where I can buy components for my own ideas, without it giving me even more ideas on how to spend my money and free time!

I’m still happy though! :D

You do realise that it is our responsibility to purchase and consume, so we are doing our citizenary duties accessorising our Land Rovers and keeping people employed making packing and delivering.

More importantly AULRO is doing its duty as a good corporate citizen in the world of global capitalism.

I agree - there is too much on here to keep my mind active regarding what to do to my 130 300tdi.
Also it takes away from my productivity at work!

Being totally pedantic, it should be, 'Why I don't like AULRO.';)

And I know what you mean...
