Just wondering if any other disco owners have a problem with heat in the centre console that "disrupts" the CD player,,, :?:

Having just moved to a warmer climate, this is the first I have heard of this problem.
I have a factory radio cassette, with a 6 disk stacker under the driver chair.
To date no problem with it at all, but the centre doesnt get any hotter than the rest of the dash area either.

If they get really hot under the consol the rubber cover on top tunnel is normally perished or split, this lets all the hot air from the engine and box in. They cost about $30.
