A batch of oneten dual cab utes were converted in perth in about '86 or '87, to be used as tow cars for the bicentennial roadshow that went around the country in 1988. They towed trailers with a fifth wheel arrangement in the tray. Like those big yank horse floates hooked up to F150's. From memory they were '86 model onetens with 5speeds.

When they came to Geelong I spent more time checking them out than the roadshow.

The defender 110 crew cab is a current model in england.

Is this really a 110 Dual cab rather than a 130 ?

If so, is there any real difference in the 110 DC's you mention for the Bicentenary roadshow and the 130's aside from the wheelbase ?

i read in one of the pommie mags about the bellargio vehicles. they are to land rover sort of like what AMG is to mercedes. there's another mob in the states that butchers them aswel, but they do them up so that they are fuuly sik with sub woofers and pro-logic systems in them. i think they LOWER them too....weirdos!

That would be OK as a show car - but you aren't actually going to DRIVE a lowered Landy are you :?: (rhetorical question)

From the look of it, its also massively overpriced for what has been done - looks like mostly cosmetic changes (improvements?) that should be do-able for a much cheaper price.

Not that there aren't a few nice styling cues there. I like the heater intake cover myself.

Latest <span style="color:red">Bellargio </span> ebay sale.

Check out the great pics at the bottom of the ebay page.

Would make a great statement in town but methinks none are destined to go further than a dirt driveway offroad.

The <span style="color:red">Bellargio </span>

Fancy a 200bhp diesel Defender (sorry, Bellargio) with electronic auto transmission, steering wheel paddle gear shift, full wood & leather trim, fancy entertainment audio-visual system, bulletproofing and 6 piston ABS brakes to haul it all to a stop faster than you can say:

"Yes please :!: " :?:

It's easy - just send money. LOTS of money.

Then get a classic Rangie :!:

She'd have no chance of reaching the radio - unless she was, ahem, closer.

Or the rear seats forward. However a cargo barrier is an excellent contraceptive in these circumstances.
