Howdy, I have a base and aerial which I'd like to supersede the window aerial with as it doesn't pick up where the car is kept (Otways Victoria). Has anybody mounted a spring base on a D1 which doesn't have a bulbar and routed the cable back to the radio unit please? If so can you advise where you mounted the spring base and any problems associated with same please?
Also I have a UHF aerial which is quite long, will this pick up AM/FM radio or not please? I'm not sure why it wouldn't ... but I'm no electronic man.
