The weathers been a bit funny up here lately,
Had a week of high heat and really humid days culminating in afternoons and nights of heavy rains and lightning.
So yesterday got the call from SWMBO "work over, come get me"
A normal 25 minute drive turns into a 50min epic,
with
flash floods ( Maryborough must have the only bridge in the world that fills up 8O )
tree hopping, ( I came, I saw, I ran over it, and over it, and over it  )
at one stage I couldnt see my bonnet for the accumilation of hailstones, the weight of the hail actually broke the wiperblade plastic backing,,,so then no more wipers 8O ( and found ANOTHER way to break spotties  )
was kinda good to see all these other vehicles, stopped, swamped , stuck,
Then I picked the Missus up and we did it all (less the hail) again. 8)

we had it all bar the hail here, for the last week
every afternoon except last night! yeehaa!
from last saturday till thursday we were without power longer than we had it, at home.
bits of trees blowing in the breeze did most the damage around the place.
some places havent had power for over 3 days, i bet they are more than a little unhappy.
me thinks energex needs a tuneup....
water got into my swb somewhere and has taken out the headlights.
guess what i am doing today, multimeter in hand style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif

BB,
Doesn't the NW only get rain with Cyclones?
Or in winter?

Yeah that's about the only time we will see any rain at all up here.
And then we cant go out and get muddy because there is so damm much rain all the dust turns to sludge and washes car's and trucks down river.
