I'm happy too,

I prefer the snail pace of the forum!

PS

The forum is a bit like engaging low range and the CDL after hours of high speed free way driving.

Why chat when you can wind down the windows, listen to the wildlife see the country and travel at 20kph.

Thats why I sold the Alfa Romeo and bought a LR.

chat room work's great, just need some more people on the same time line to get in there at the same time.

maybe we need to TRY a couple of organised chat times when a few of us can catch up?

It works fine for me, i'm often in there.

Pedro,

A nasty habit passed down from my father who is a Citroen fanatic (eleven owned).

I've only owned one of those briefly.

I remember renting an Alfa 33 once, ( no twice style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif )
gave it a severe flogging up and down the old Highway to Gosford,,
I thought at the time it needed another 2 or 300 cc's, not any more than that, to be a really fun thing to drive.
Had to buy a set of pointy shoes just for the trip!

My Alfa was a 3l V6... a sweet motor just wanted to keep on spinning...it was very easy to hit the rev limiter. I used to wash her early on Sunday mornings and give her a blow dry on the Old Pacific Highway between Hornsby and Brooklyn. Loved the hill climb from Brooklyn heading south. You had to watch out for Ducatis coming the otherway. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif

As for the ergonomics I think Alfa offered an optional operation which involved cutting 300mm off the length of your legs and grafting it onto your arms!
