GULLWING WINDOWS ON EBAY.

Has anybody purchased the Gullwing windows available on
eBay for their Defender. They are out of Melbourne and seem
to have some available.

Purely looking at them to avoid the wait time on the usual brands.
Just wanting some feedback on quality etc.

They look the same as the ones that Mulgo sells. Would be worth giving him a call to see what the current stock status is and freight price etc.

I recently did an extended outback trip with that 90 in the ebay photos, and the owner was very happy with them.

Ok I have contacted Mulgo and they are out of stock currently, it seems they
are quite popular.

Perhaps the design folk at Solihull could incorporate this popularity into new models; current sliders are pretty well useless most of the time

I've seen a full glass version, but I don't remember the brand.

They are the identical windows as the ones Mulgo on-sells. Same windows from the same factory. I have spoken to both the ebay seller as well as the manufacturer about a slightly modified version. The ebay sellers are very helpful and honest.

You can now get full glass ones from Dolium product outlets (such as Mulgo, and Opposite Lock) (see: LR Def Glass Gullwing Door - Dolium Pty Ltd (http://www.dolium.com.au/Retail_Catalogue/LRGDG_item.html)). Presumably made by Front Runner in South Africa.
