They quote part number TVF 100010 - but I'm not sure if that's the LR number for reference or the affected after market part number.
Mine was changed over the affected period

I purchased mine with that part number through an Auto One shop in November 2012, I presume all dodgy ones were recalled by then I hope.

not sure how this will work, land rover is hardly expected to exchange a unit bought off someone other than land rover.or are they

as long as it was branded GKN, it will be fine.

Correct GKN is the Genuine Maker, The recall states "AFTERMARKET."
We have seen how flimsy the cheap aftermarket ones are. I could flex an aftermarket one with my hands, the Genuine GKN ones in comparison where stiffer rubber. Buying cheap aftermarket is asking for problems on a major drive line part.

please bear with me never had a recalled car before, land rover at some time supplied and\or fitted aftermarket couplings, not the genuine GKN so if i take the disco in they will check it and if it is not GKN they will replace it.
