This has likely been covered a number of times before but I'd like some clarification.

According to various standards

ISO 1724 (the RHS black socket on D3/D4/RRS & L322)

https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2013/11/432.jpg

Pin - Function - Wire colour.
1 - LH turn - Yellow
2 - +12V or rear Fog lamps - Blue
3 - Chassis Ground - white or Grey
4 - RH Turn - Green
5 - RH Tail lamps etc - Brown
6 - Stop lamps - Red
7 - LH Tail Lamps etc - Black

ISO 3732 (The LHS white socket on on D3/D4/RRS & L322)

https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2013/11/433.jpg

Pin - Function - Wire colour
1 - Reversing lamps - Yellow
2 - spare - Blue
3 - Chassis Ground (not pin 6) - white or Grey
4 - + 12V constant - Green
5 - spare - Brown
6 - + 12V Ign - Red
7 - Ground for pin 6 - Black

AS2513-1982

https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2013/11/434.jpg

ISO 1724 clashes with AS2513-1982

Pin - Function 1724 - AS2513
2 - Fog lamps - Reverse lamps
5 - RH tail lamps - Electric brakes

Questions Do Land Rover Australia sell their vehicles with ISO1724 or AS2513 compliant wiring?
If ISO1724 is Pin 2 Fog or +12V?
Can you use the ISO 3732 Pins 6 & 7 to power the fridge inside the car?
Could you use ISO 3732 pin 4 to power a fridge?

My L322 only has 1 plug which was ISO1724, and pin #2 was fog lights.

I rewired it to AS2513 when I put the brake controller in.

Can't see why you couldn't run a fridge off the white plug as you suggest, but would not go charging an AUX battery or running air compressor.

What I can't understand is that seat belts have to comply with AS. Belts that only meet ISO/BS are unacceptable but they can sell cars with trailer sockets that don't comply with ADR/AS.

I guess that is the reason that I don't have reversing lamps on the trailer when connected to the D4.

Thanks for setting that all out so well Lotz-A-Landies.

Need to rewire the black plug on the D3 as it is obviously wired to ISO 1724 not AS2513-1982 as I do not have tail lamps on the trailer when the vehicle lights are on. Also the vehicle rear fog lights illuminate with a trailer connected.
