Just picked up a rolling chassis with firewall 109 series 11a, chassis No. 25307359b, Its an ex army vehicle and plated as FFT but I can't find that number on the registry of ex military Land Rovers (or maybe I need new glasses). Unfortunately the chassis has suffered some serious damage at the front and the vehicle is VERY incomplete. I plan to repair the damage and fit the chassis under my 11a 109 wagon (also has a badly damaged chassis) and fit a 200tdi and 5 speed. Should make for a very useful and fun wagon.
But it would be good to know more of the history of the chassis. I have been working as a civvie for defence for the last 6 years on Land Rovers and have had a really nice 11a army Rover years ago.
