Hello Again
Well my battery has finerly died. Called the NRMA out, and was told that I would have to go to the dealer as it was an occupational, health and safety issue for him to fit a new battery.....I thought he was having a laugh......
Any one know what the correct battery is, and the correct way to fit it.
I'm sure I saw on a thread somewhere that you can get to the battery by tilting the bonnet vertical, how do you do that ?.
Also is there a way to do the exchange without losing the radio code ? I'm pretty sure I don't have the code.

As far as what battery size ? biggest is best ! Others that have recently fitted new batteries could give you some idea of brands etc.

haha, it is a simple job with 1 extra step than normal - stand the bonnet up vertical.

I spent a bit of time to find a battery that is readily stocked, you know in case you need one in the middle of nowhere. I came up with the Supercharge MF88H.

No radio code, it will even keep all its settings, just need to reset the clock, and turn the steering from lock to lock to reset the steering angle sensor.

I would have slapped the NRMA guy in the back of the head... As you have probably figured out, you just unclip the struts and push the bonnet up further. It then locks in with a little bracket hanging on the hinge.

There are some 1000CCA alternatives that wil fit, but they aren't generally an off the shelf item. When mine died, I had to go with a standard unit as I needed to get back on the road.
