The hazard switch may be at fault. Is the power getting in and out of it?

How old is it?
My TD5 developed this fault, cause was a dry solder joint in the indicator flasher unit.

It's a 97 300TDI .
Seems to be the flasher relay , new one should arrive today , so will see for sure .

I had this problem. It was the hazard switch with mine.
