Hey all,
Does anyone know if the spring bushings on a series 1 (55' 107) are the same as later vehicles?
Mine are basically non-existant so its hard to tell what they looked like, they do appear short, almost like they only go half way through - is this right?
Cheers

The bushes in the chassis were two smaller bushes originally but at some point this changed to a single long bush.
Picture in this thread shows the two narrow bushes removed from my '56 and the 'long' replacement.

That explains it mate, thanks.
The old bushes consist of shredded shards of rubber and a rusted tube...

Im waiting for my parabolics to arrive to pull apart the bushes but from the Klonk every time I turn a corner im sure mine now look like yours. Unless its the shock mount rubbers.
