Duel Batteries Disco 1

Hi All
Now that I have a snorkle on, I have the room for my 2nd battery but need to move the power steering tank :roll: has anyone done this and where was it moved to.

I made a simple angle iron bracket using the radiator mounting point to locate it, the resivour now sits just infront of the altenator and beside the air filter. It has worked like a charm for about 4 years now.

I added my second battery but didnt have to move anything.

Thanks for the pic bigbugga I have seen that before.
My bat. is bigger then your so I do need to move it.
Also see in the pic that the snorkel inner hose is on the out side of the air box
Mine being a TDI the inner hose comes around the back of the air box and in to it on the in side rubbing on the top rad hose witch I will have to move slightly.

Its not the size of the batt but how many volts it hold's :twisted:
