Pedro,

I wiped mine off on a tree sliding backwards down a muddy track. I cant remember the internals....sorry. Does your remote adjustment still work?

By the way your avatar has fallen off.

The glass is fixed on a plastic bracket which is clamped onto plastic rails, driven by cogwheels from two electric motors. The motor panel is fixed with three bolts to the mirror housing. The glass has also a flip holder at the inside upper corner and two wiring connectors.
If your glass is coming loose there is a good chance the bracket has cracked. If you can't glue it you will need a new one. A bracket will set you back about $3 (I cracked mine recently so I know the anatomy of the mirrors quite well).
