My Puma has had oil leaks into the park brake drum due to the Nylock nut coming loose. This has happened several times, even after the dealers did the modified procedure with a double ring of locktite on the shaft thread. It seems the Nylock nut just doesn't do its job, even when torqued up properly.

This time, I got some advice from the local fastener people who recommended a 2 piece washer, which makes it much harder to come loose. Hopefully, I'll get this done on the weekend. Just thought I'd share this with others who have had the same problem. It sounds good, and makes sense, but obviously I can't vouch for it yet.

What is a 2 piece washer? Could you post either a pic or some alternative descriptions?

OK googled and found it.

Interesting.
There is another type of nut that has a floating stainless plate instead of nylock that can be used in high temp locations that could also help if they are made big enough. Usually used in marine but good for exhaust manifolds.

That's the one, Philip. I had problems with loading the photos from by phone yesterday, but here they are now.

Both halves are identical. The courser teeth mate with each other, while the finer teeth are on the outside. The teeth are directional. The mating ones lock together when tightening the nut. The finer ones grip when undoing the bolt, making it resistant to coming loose.
