View Full Version : air suspension leaking 2?

hello together,

noticed that my D3 goes down to it's bump stops after around 3 days if not driven. Is that normal?

I already had the front and rear EAS valves replaced but still dropping.

I pulled the suspension fuse to see whether only one site dropped but same result all 4 wheels on the bump stop.

Now disconnected battery and it seems like front and rear passenger site drops more and quicker then other two sides. Would that be a indicator for the leak?

Course of action? New air springs?

Rovercraft quoted $381 + GST for front and $421 + GST for rear that includes shocks.

Any help would be appreciated need to get car ready from our Christmas trips.

Cheers

Steve

Might have to do it the old fashioned way, a spray bottle with soapy water, then go from there, could just be a leaky line or connection, cheaper than buying a new bag only to find out that wasn't what was wrong.

thanks Baz did that before replacing EAS valve which was actually leaking (the whole valve started to come apparat) but seems like was not the only leak

If all 4 springs are dropping with the battery disconnected, I'd be looking from the front of the reservoir tank back. The circuits for the air distribution are front/rear, not left/right, so one side going down faster than the other may be immaterial.
