Hi, I'm searching for a good way to mount my ipad air to the dashboard of my 2010 d4 SE. What innovative solutions have you got or seen?

I would like something that looks professional, is relatively easy to install, doesn't block my view of the road and can be accessed from both driver and passenger.

Thanks, Andy.

Ram mounts. Nothing better.
Easily adjustable, solid and top quality.

I've got a gumdrop case for my Nexus and a slip grip mount that is designed to suit the case. Works pretty well

I have the same car 2010 D4 SE I have the ClickOn mount which I got from www.strike.com.au (http://www.strike.com.au) ($49) and then attached RAM mounts to then hold my phone / iPad.

I can switch from an iPhone mount to my iPad when on a trip.

the beauty of the ClickOn is that there are no holes drilled it is not in front of the widscreen both me and my passenger can access it.

it is the angled mount SKU 654413, if you don't like it down low they have one that mounts higher. I prefer it lower as I just glance at the map, I don't need it in my face.

Thx Dizza. But where to start of their website. Too many choices! What fits the D4 in your experience? Thx. Andy.

I use a Ram mount too. I have a 10 inch Sony Android tablet. I have the mount that secures by using the seat bolt on the front right of the passenger seat. The mount is adjustable and I have the tablet positioned above the gear stick and easily accessible and visible to driver and passenger.

The tablet moves with the mount as we drive over bumps which some find off-putting, but it doesn't bother me at all.

Check out the Ram site. Lots of options and a mount for every device.

I know what you mean there are so many RAM products it's hard to know where to start, I have these RAM components attached to the ClickOn mount

RAP-293U bolted to the ClickOn mount
RAP-B-200-1U this is the arm that attaches to the above mount
RAM-B-202U the ball that attaches to my iPad cradle.

I use their X-Grip for my iPhone and RAM-HOL-AP8U for my iPad, you will need to do a search for an iPad mini cradle on their site.
