Ok here goes.
I have a 2001 P38 HSE.
Seems to have a central locking problem; it will lock and unlock randomly by itself! Can hear it clicking away sometimes in the garage by itself.
Yesterday I couldn't open the tailgate. When I pressed the tailgate button, the car locked and then unlocked! Was not just a one off either; it was every single time I hit the button. But no noise of the solenoid working in the tailgate. Tried giving the tailgate a nudge etc, but I think the wiring is shot somewhere.
Should I start in the drivers door or the tailgate first? I am not 100% on how the central locking and tailgate are wired up, so if anyone has had experience with this before or can point me towards some helpful info it would be appreciated :)
