Thanks all for coming along, it was a good day out even though I had the only series on the day,
My little car is in love with Garry's new 90, couldn't stop her from fraternising all day. And I still don't know what my car's name is, some help with this would be appreciated.
Oh, I am in love with it too!
We found the rough track to the lookout and it was a bit difficult in my little car(what's her name?) and although in two wheel drive ( must put the front prop shaft back in!) I finally found low range and got up the hill .
We dithered around and found some really nice views of the mountain on our way to the lunch stop,
I hope to run another trip in this area and will look for an overnight near a pub

I will put some pics up later, but if you have some, please put them up

Easy Tiger

For now its just Wee 90.

Its hard not to love a shiny new 90 though is it, and there are more to come to the club too

Another great day out and thanks to all who were there

Looks like a great day out. I would be very interested in an overnight stay in this region. So keen to hear when you have more details Harry.

I think Harry's old 90 is called Cougar
because it likes younger men.:p

Thanks Harry for leading the trip and it was good to finally get to meet some people and put faces to names. Enjoyed getting the Disco into low range for a change, even if it did jump out once when we stopped during the climb, while waiting for Harry to find that little lever that gives low range! Here are pics of Harry from behind during the climb (which was steeper than its looks in the pics), the group at the top and the view from the start of the walk to the Upper Portals, showing Lake Maroon I think its called.
