I quite often get the same thing, but I also have no idea what causes it. :? The only thing that seems to work is to hit the refresh button after I start to reply. This generally seems to help. Make sure you copy the text of your reply though before refreshing, otherwise you'll lose it. Guess how I know.

Barney... we saw you come into the room a couple of times, and tried to say hello, but obviously you were experiencing "Technical Difficulties" and couldn't reply.
One thing to try is to log off completely and then try again, because the chat room still thinks you are in there and won't let you in.
It happened to me twice tonight too.

Sometimes its also your computer system that is not compatable with the chat room program....

Hope you have better luck next time.

Cheers,
Cul

yes i think it might be a cookie problem. i may have to allow that part of the forum separately. i'll tackle that later though, i've got to hit the sack, got dog training first thing in the morning.
for childless pet owners it's like sports day for a normal family

What field of dog training?

barney

just general social obedience. we used to do agility with one of them but my wife had ocial issues with the group (very clicky) and she wasn't happy there. we train our dogs in the "novice" class which is just below trialling. after that, i go home and the wife stays behind and teaches the other, less experienced grades. she is currently doing the "delta canine good companion" course via correspondence.

Oh ok thats interesting.
We're mainly into Law Enforcement K9 Training.... just a little more intense style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif Just thought that you might have been in a similar field, but any dog training is good in my books!

especially that big one in the avitar photo. once he gets his tongue near you, your hair-do is history. he loves to lick the top of people's heads as they walk up the driveway past the verandah.

Could be worse.

(Don't think about it :!: )

If he uses the tongue only it's not so bad.

It's the follow through you don't want - that's after the foreplay's over....

Oi :!: :!: I thought I told you not to think about it. :?: :!:

actually, Bo, the mutt in the foreground, who is half rotty half crocodile, can open his mouth so wide that he has managed to put tooth marks on opposite sides of my head while we've been rough-housing around. don't know how the other dogs put up with it. some of the stuff they get up to must really hurt.

Barney: Tooth marks on opposite sides of your head ?

Gee that'd be a really good time to **** him off, wouldn't it. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif

yeah. it's just as well he's got the best nature. you couldn't **** him off if you tried

Looking back at the thread title.

I always thought an invalid session was when a group of dumb-arse teenagers have been passing the bong around only to eventually realise they've been sold a bag of tobacco and lawnmower clippings :!:

or it could be what they get up to in nursing homes just before the tim-tams come out style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

he he he

Anyone else got a explanation of an invalid session ?
