Downloading ipod to new computer

Gday All,

I found my old ipod and was wanting to download the music from it , BUT , the computer that the music was loaded on to the ipod is no longer working.

Does anyone know if there is a way around deleting the whole ipod to get a new computer to be the HOST computer.

There are quite a few software applications which will get your music on and off your ipod without needing the iTunes crap.

MusicBee (http://getmusicbee.com/) is one fairly decent free example, there are others if you look around.
