well well well,
I was driving last Sunday around Kiama, enjoying my smooth granny shifting, while all of sudden the fender started to leak air.
that was a loud hissing sound which I told SWAMBO "just the turbo sucking air". but later I realized it was different.
the leaking sound just keep going and going and one hour later, the engine light was on.
called the roadside service, and the fender was towed to the dealer.
today I was told the culprit is the charge air cooler pipe that chaffed on the bracket on the alternator and eventually leaked.:censored::censored::censored:.
this will only applied to 2.2 puma and perhaps, a handful of 2.4.
the stealer will replace the hose and fix it according to the tech bulletin, which apparently involve using something caller" protective strip".....
and that annoys me a lot:censored::censored::censored:
think it is time to replace the hose with silicon hose
