What is the best (single) mod/accessory you have for under $1000?

For the Td5 a remap was the single best value mod and a lot cheaper than the $1000 limit.

Mungo side rails.
Second time now that someone has backed into the side of my Puma in a car park. And doors are frequently opened onto them on other occassions.
I would have both the front and the rear door badly damaged last week had the side rail not been there.
It is like the side roo bar of the parking lots.

Rear Wheel Carrier or a mounted water tank under the rear seats i think is what i want from Santa.

Best mod under $1000 would have to be my drop down fridge slide. Without it, it would be impossible to get anything in or out of the fridge.

I agree with the side rails, or even the Rover craft bar. During crazy xmas traffic, the defender with either of these gives me piece of mind in parking lots for people parked in front of me, or those beside me. I feel like the queen on the roads at the moment, nobody wants to take on the defender and everyone just gets out of the way. I am by no means an intimidating driver either.

I have ordered a alive chiptech intercooler, silicone hoses, decat and custom remap. My bull dust story is that it is much less than a grand and I am sticking to it! :D

For almost exactly that amount I got an LED lightbar and a pair of Fyrlyt spotties !!!

But also for under that amount - a 2nd hand TJM bullbar.
