G4 Discovery Snorkel

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a snorkel like the ones fitted to the G4 Discovery's? I went and had a look at the G4 when it was on display at Austral LR and the snorkel disappears into the guard right at the A pillar and runs along inside the guard. A much neater looking snork than the standard market types. One of these days when my car is out of warranty ;-) I'll pull the dresses off the inner guard and have a long hard think on designing a better snorkel! :idea:

I havnt even thought of it before, but someone out there must make them for the normal retail market.

Hopefully someone will have an answer soon.

I think there Mantec Snorkel's !!! Not 100% sure though.

Yeah, that does sound like a Mantec snorkel. With the exchange rate from UKP to AUD, I suspect this snorkel will be rather pricey.

I must admit that I've never heard of mantec. I'll do some digging in the internet (rather than digging in the mud... style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif ) and see what else I can find out. Might be a trip to the local exhaust bloke for some stainless steel pipe... style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif

Should be able to right click on the picture and get the properties of the pic... once u have done that put the url in between these [img..] Put link here [/img..] (Note, remove the dots ".."

Hi fellers I sent Moses the info on Mantec snorkle It can be found on disco2.com and in the site is disco web and look at tec area it has pic and how to do it your self I think it looks neater than Safari's I will be looking at doing this one myself. Lance
