I am having trouble with high beam on my P38, that is the head lights flash but wont stay on high beam, two auto electricians have looked at it with no results, both have asked for a wiring diagram to help them. The nearest RR dealer or mechanic is about 200kms from where I live. I have fitted a new blinker/high beam arm to the steering column which didn't rectify the problem. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or can provide advice as to where the problem may lie. Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.

There are some weird and wonderful setting for the lights that can be accessed and changed by a proper diagnostics unit, maybe your settings are currupt. The diagnostics can test each circuit individually so you can confirm quickly if the wiring is suspect.
As the Becm switches the lights on and off via signals from the dash switch, if you can confirm a good signal from the switch to the Becm then you will need to bite the bullet and hook up to a diagnostics and look at the lighting settings.

Thanks for the responses, I wll down load the wiring diagrams and give to the local auto electrician. In regard to the diagnostic tool, which one is the best one to buy

It's been fairly well discussed on the diagnostic part of aulro if you want more info. But I'd go the nanocom again.

E252 is the only common earth for all the headlights. It's behind the drivers side kick pannel, and is known to get corroded - especially if the heater orings have gone in the past.
