bumper is ugly, other than that its a nice looking defender. . but 200K no freaking way.

Whata joke. They've spent probably $110K on it all up and are wanting to sell it for $200K :lol2:

Anyone in their right mind who INSISTED on spending $200K on a utilitarian style vehicle would get the up-spec G-Wagen.

Though in truth nobodyin their right mind would do either !

Did anyone see the heritage?
Land Rover Defender Heritage LE - Land Rover Defender Icon - Espaol (http://es.defendericon.com/land-rover-defender-icon-editions/12/land-rover-defender-heritage-le/)

There are a few different models on the sight when you have a look around.

Interesting, the black one was left hand drive. All a bit ugly.

If I had that kind of money I would certainly be calling these German engineers!

I love the longnose!

some yank will pay it.

if you include shipping and customs in that price to get it state side then it takes the hassle off the buyer. You can't get that stuff in the US.

Yep, lovely car. Crazy money, although the LWB series do seem to be pulling some big bucks in the states.

Happy to see them becoming appreciated :)

I saw a red Defender the other day and I thought that looked pretty flash. Maybe my tastes are a bit simpler than some! :D

Looks like the one I saw in a panel shop at Southport a few years ago when I was doing up a 69 HK Brougham. The guy at the panel shop had it at his shop and restored it for a yank who was going to tour Australia when he retired, but had a stroke and asked the restorer to sell it for him. He ended up selling it to some guy in Canada and got $35k USD for it. Beautiful car.
