im trying to bleed my front brake lines but with no luck so far. I have a 93 200tdi disco with dual front brake lines. the calipers have 3 three bleed nipples. ive just put new rubber extended brake lines on and am having trouble getting the air out. ive mainly been using the top bleed valve as this is the one to use on the rear calipers. Any ideas or suggestions would be great.

Hi
Your best bet is to bleed them good enough to get you to a brake mechanic and get them to power bleed and replace all the fluid. There is a very good bleeder you can buy wich uses compressed air to suck the fluid thru the system, but these cost between $75 to $125.The brake man should cost less than $60.
Cheers

From memory when I did my range rover you have to bleed through two of the nipples at once on the front circuit, I think the primary circuit has the two bleed points.

try and get hold of a pressure bleeder (eg Gunsons ezy-bleed) they make life sooo much easier.

Me Im lazy I fitted a set of one bleed valves.
Now I just loosen bleeders and pump away into a bottle, all done.
Changing fluid I same use a different colour annd pump utill clean.

Start at the furthurest bleed er from the M/Cyl.

easy as.
