I've had my defender for 17 years and never had a fuel problem, but today I discovered something not quite right.
There has always been a small diesel leak around the tank (132 Ltr LongRanger), so I thought I'd tighten up the hose clamps.
Now the problem is the rubber hose connected to the fuel sender/pick up is only holding on by about 4mm as the original nut is still on the sender unit.
I need an original steel fitting to fit the sender unit so I can then attach the rubber fuel line.
Anyone have any ideas for a part number or the thread type/size of this fitting.
Cheers,
Tony
