I'm limited to 2 drinks a day (long story, medical reasons) but I love the Bundy !

Guys i dunno about you - and i know that "its what forums are about" but i think we stand a real chance of people losing interest when all of the posts end up in mindless banter.

I for one have limited time and i like to make sure i read everything but it really annoys me when great topics end up out to 3 &4 pages with mindless crap .

i think the idea of starting a post for that stuff is good, it keeps the integrity of the posts &topic in place .

Fellas we want this to be the best LR site in OZ - it probably nearly is - lets keep it that way and strat a Banter chat so ppl can go there to post mindless stuff

or if you have stuff like that to post do it in pm

style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif you can jump on that soapbox anytime you like mick , cos this is (last time i looked 8O ) still a free country , so if you wanna say some thing say it . yes , the mindless banter does get a bit annoying at times , but i think that if it is kept here in the "general chat " section and doesnt invade into the tech section or elsewhere , i cant see too much of a problem. If the tech forum is left alone for tech q's and the for sale is left for the "ads", etc,etc,etc , and just keep the banter in here, after a while you get to know which topic is informative and which ones are just people talking ...........well for want of a better word...crap!having said that ,i will now hand on the soap box 8) style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif
