Hello Chaps / Chappettes.......

Now we all know that its rather on the annoying stage to not to be able to watch the football for whatever reason....

1. Its not on TV
2. Its on TV but theres some chick flick , sick inducing prog , reality dirge on other channel and better half must view.
3. Its on TV but Fox/Austar will induce a second mortgage on you to watch it.
4. All of the above

But...fear not my football loving friends help is on hand with this link.

http://www.freelivefootball.co.uk/

Where you can watch live games on the net as they are played , and have a choice of which game to watch as well..

Good eh!.

Another problem solved for mankind......Ithankyouverymush style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif

Cool, but for some reason my windows media player says it can't play (that type) of file :?: (I hate computers) - if it weren't for the Landy forum I'd hardly ever use the thing.

What's the time difference between that advertised on the site and Qld (AEST) time ? (ie non-daylight savings)

Ta muchly and... GO THE MIGHTY GUNNERS :!:

Ello Vlad...

Well its another thing we share in common , not only a love affair with all things Land Rover , but also the Arsenal.

I was brought up in Highbury and for the best part lived only 5 mins walk from the ground itself..needless to say a lot of great memories from following the reds home and away...but thats another story.

Anyways....you should have no trouble at all viewing those games in the latest Microshaft player (think its number 9).
As for kick off times at the moment 3'o clock kick off's are midnight here , so thats where you will get the majority of the football.
If at all your confused a quick google search on "world times" brings up a decent website to check.

Cheers

Hi Expat,

My eldest (and smelliest) son is a Gunners Fan. He's 18 and plays for the local club , Kissing Point (Turramurra) Premier 1 reserves. The youngest (16) and pimplier is splinterred due to sitting on a fence but loves his football.

Needless to say my last Sunday was spent not off-road but on the side-lines! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif

All of this soccer madness started when the smelliest was six!

And their parents thought that they should be involved.

What madness

Oh I dunno Kev.....you ever seen the 'Iron Chef?" on SBS.....

Theres some damn fine moves there matey.

Best film Ive ever seen was the original Drunken Master with Jackie Chan before he went over to the Darkside (USA).

If ever you can get hold of that one your in for a treat...its a classic.

It all boils down to $pon$er$hip:

Football (soccer) is the poor cousin of Eggball (3 codes) in this country.

I also have a closet love of Jack High (Lawn Bowls), and sheepdog trials. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

My favourite 2000 Olympic televised event was the Archery (it was Wagnerian in the the development of the the drama and the humility of the Victor)

Tai Kwondo and Judo stand in a long and deserving queue.

Iron Chef suffers from bad dubbing.

Cheers One Iota..

Have heard of those two before , watched them through the rugby world cup on "the cream" , funny buggers must admit.

Is that prog on every week? , as this Sunday will be attempting to launch a white spherical object into the air for great distances and then tapping into a hole......yep...golf.
Will be the first time Ive played here in Aus and the worse thing is going to be working out the imperial measurements to metric equation.....know everything by yards not a cat in hells chance on the metres side.

Up at the Hunter for the weekend to rest a bit , been o'ding on the work so much so Ive made junior doctors cry as Ive beaten the hours they stick in.

Even the Land Rover gave up last weekend with a flat battery.....very strange if you ask me.....its got a sixth sense 8O

Arsenal v Manure: DRAW.

Arsenal extends unbeaten streak....

Have you ever heard the expression "So bad, it's good"?

Well Iron Chefs is so bad, it's terrible.

Yes Roy and H.G. can even make women like sport (or at least the commentary!).

And as for one_iota's love of sheepdog trials: They were framed, I tell you !!

Ah golf ....I played this once but my extremely low oops () threshold kicked in.

I think it was Billy Connelly did a great skit on golf, a game that only the Scots could invent style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif.I'll see if I can find the links (if you'll forgive the pun) and post it here.

Roy and HG are on most Sundays.
