g'day all just pulled the g'box out of the 107 and to my surprise its got the Holden flywheel drilled to suit rover clutch, makes it a bit easier for parts. can anyone tell me how the thrust race bearing gets lubricated being an open bearing any prepact grease once hot would not get splashed around, can (or should ) you change this to a closed bearing. the spigot bearing was to short and i don't think it held the g'box shaft, new one is the right length also there is a spacer that was made to fit inside the flywheel and gave the bearing support it was tack welded as you can see (if the photos uploaded) also the adapter plates are different the one in the truck is a solid back with just a small cutout for the starter the other is more of a ring with a halve moon plate set in the lower section. think i will go with the solid one as i wont have to change bell housings! new box seems to be a suffix b, i have a couple but don't know the condition of the other. couldn't find numbers on the net to check what they are yet.hope the photos are of intrest, will find out how to have them open in the thread soon (i hope) merry Christmas to all markus
