This is just a steel bodied car made to look like a lightweight. You can buy aluminium replicas but they are very, very expensive. The lightweight low drag is a much nicer looking car - if you are going to go to all the effort then this is the one I would recreate.

Great stuff. I actually prefer the first car looks wise than the low drag version….

If I had the funds and skill, a XJ13 would be my recreation.
