Well, another year finished at work - thank **** for that...:D.

So, onto better things for a few weeks before I have to go back and do it all again next year. Just thinking of the things I've done throughout the year, and particularly all the new friends I've met from right here on the forum. The events I've been to have been brilliant, and I would not have thought that I would have got about so much, and that my fellow forumites would open their homes to a complete stranger with such genuine friendship. I really have had a blast, and in the new year, I look forward to catching up with old friends again, and meeting even more new ones.

Land Rover folk truly are a special breed, and for that we should all be very thankful.

So, to all my friends out there - that I have met in person, or just converse with on here, have yourselves a very merry Christmas, and a safe and happy new year.

See you on and off the tracks soon.:)

Nice post Gav. Unfortunately I didn't get it over the line today, so my holidays start Monday arvo. Still it's the weekend so all is good.

Merry Christmas all. Hope the season is fun and fair to you.

Yep, I'm done for now as well, only got a week off as I'm back on the 30th. We have 6 weeks in the States from the middle of March though, really looking forward to it.

Enjoy your Christmas break everyone.

I hope when the time comes, you actually have some time off. There is nothing like knocking off and the feeling of holidays has started. Quite the opposite to working when everyone isn't.

And a merry and safe christmas to you and Yvonne.

Blakes 7 tomorrow night then?

Unfortunately, being unemployed, I don't get a christmas break. I have to be unemployed right through christmas.

Cheers Gav,,,
We finished up today at 10am, had an all expense paid luncheon at Cardens in Dandy,,, top class feed and service, annnnnnd all one can drink . I'm awake now I've had my little 5hour nanna nap ;)
On the way to lunch though Gav, we saw all the cars at your work, and figured you were finishing up ;)

Its good to be done for the year, can sit back, sleep in and just generally relax for a few days :D.

So from Leeanne and myself, we wish everyone here a Merry Xmas, and a good and prosperous new year.
Be safe in your travels people, and we hope to see and meet you somewhere through 2014.

Cheers

Officially work has finished, but I have to go in Early Monday morning to do one last job, a susp compressor replacement on a D3.

Then a bit of a cleanup, then that is it until the 6th.

Everyone PLEASE think carefully driving etc and stay safe, there are a lot of idiots out there this time of the year:(

Bad luck on the redundancy mate - hope you find something when you are ready to get back to it - enjoy your break, sounds like you deserve one.

Well it is sort of self inflicted for me as it was choice I made a long time ago. Don`t get paid time of ever. So working through Christmas. Did this year mange a Christmas break up feed at a place I was working. But looking forward to Easter where I might take a break. But for now you all have a grouse Christmas and a beaut new year.

Well, Gav happily started his holidays content with the knowledge of how Blake acquired the Liberator and how Jenna, Avon, Vila, Gam and Cally joined his crew.

He was rather surprised to see who he thought was Miriam Margolyes in the first episode.
Brian Blessed was in one of the episodes, but then, he is in lots of english productions.
