Lambda sensors for build year 98 p38

Can anybody advise on the pros and cons of the ngk vs the cheaper (splice your own wires) aftermarket oxygen sensors? Think I might need some. I've had the orange check engine warning light on the dash now for a few months.

Also, anybody successfully used aftermarket MAF sensors?

I decoked the originals in vineger. It seems to have cleared the fault. At least for now.
