Flameless candle for presents

My Wife came home with one of these... LED candle? - Yeah, riiiiiiight I said.

But, it looks incredibly realistic and even smells like a scented one... maybe because it's made of flavoured wax. The 'flame' dances around better than the website shows, needing only the slightest of air movements, or so it seems....

I've seen them on evilBay for around $50, SWMBO picked up hers for $40 at a boutique gift shoppe.

Yeah, they work better than you would think. I've got a set of 4 rechargable tea light candles we use on the table from time to time. They look great and no chance of a fire.:)

We now have a set of these candles in the bathroom. Very realistic I must admit. Previously the wife used to have aromatic candles burning around the bath when she had a tub but I had to ban them after she almost set fire to the Tassie Oak on the walls one day.:o

First saw them in a little Greek restaurant in Hobart a few years ago. Thought they were quite nifty. If they're placed into a nice little receptacle, you wouldn't know the difference.

I bought some individual units off ebay that use small button batteries for about $1 each delivered.

The rechargable ones are Arlec and cost about $15 for the four I think. All 4 plug onto a base that charges them - nifty and cheap.

Might get a set and swap out the old 200tdi headlights probably brighter :D
