Hi,
Do I need a special tool to remove the radio from my 2012 Defender? I want to replace it with something with bluetooth but not sure on how to get it out other than knowing the four holes are relevant.

Thanks

Get yourself four pieces of wire that will fit pretty neatly into the holes you mention as being relevant - coat hanger wire or nails will probably do. File a chisel shape on one end of each piece and insert into each hole just past the point where you feel a slight resistance. This should disengage the locking tabs sufficiently to allow the radio to be withdrawn.

As Extreme says.

I bought a $10 trim removal kit from ebay. It has the proper u shaped wire removal things as well as a number of other useful gadgets for door linings etc.
