hey Guys just brought myself a series 1 disco and just got the timing belt and tappets done and British off road pumped up the injector pump and now it seems to be smoking a lot more on no/low boost then clears up. Or whenever i go to put my foot down over half throttle. Is this normal? or is it a tad over-fuelled?

Series 1 disco Smoke test - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFleQAH-5Es&feature=youtu.be)

here is a video i put up just to see how bad it was.

So far i have put through fuel/injector cleaner and air filter and fuel filter on is way.
Hope yous guys can give me a guide as im new to the disco and so far really liking it.

Can you see that smoke in your mirrors? What kind of performance increases have you experienced? Any visual smoke is over fueling at some stage through the rev range, but sometimes due to the fuel systems design there will always be black smoke at times, I would say that is excessive but if its clearing out as boost is reached that's not to bad, the extra fuel will be helping reduce lag by creating heat earlier but as a result black smoke. Vnt turbos and after coolers would be your next step unless the pump us wound back. Knowing what your exhaust temps are reaching would be important now.
