4 days fishing and quafing copious amounts of carbine.... nice
nice spot the ole "cotton tree" caravan park.
espicially those nice new cabins.
plenty of fish... bream whiting and travely. who said the east coast was fished out...
plenty of other people up there as well, all of them friendly.
the bowls local club puts on a nice feed of homestyle meals if you didnt fill your creel or if you are too lazy to cook style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif

Well I fed the fish and got a nice tan happening.
Few flathead and Gar-fish but nothing worth bringing home.
Some great new secluded spots found but

Hey BB,
Nice looking spot........ style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif
While I luv my snow capped mountains here in Vic in Winter - I reckon I could cope with a bit of " feeding the fish and working on the Tan".... with a spot like that! 8)
How far up north west is it?...

Easter Long Weekend.
Well the weather was absolutely perfect in SE Qld with not a hint of the rain that usually afflicts the easter w/end. Could it be because I had to work :?: :!:
Yeah that's right. I worked. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif On the best Easter weekend in living memory. Typical. If it wasn't for the penalty rates.....
Oh and I picked up a nice dose of food poisoning to boot :!:
So yeah - happy Easter. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif

BB,
I'm sure we all look forward to the shots of your decent down the slope shown in the first shot.... 8O
But we know that you are ecologically sound and your Discovery is articulated.
Clearance granted.

Was hard enough walking down with the rods, bait, and esky.
The rocks are sharp enough to pop a tyre in some places.
Wasnt going to test the soil ratio of the undies that day

Discretion is the best part of valour particularly if the beers are still cold at the bottom of the descent and there are cold ones when you return. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

Just love that country up there BB! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif never know just what you may catch (fish that is)
Went deep south for our Easter to Bremer Bay, didnt use the rod although there were plenty of sea bream around we preferred 4 wheeling and explored some challenging tracks that hadn't had use for some time, into Fitzgerald River NP to the Fitzgerald River Mouth a nice 4 day break.
Plenty of beer wine and stews.
Got home , and as usual used the HP spray over the motor but this time something happened, dont know what but she's(the RR not other half) into hospital overnight , after replacing the coil, distributor cap and fuel pump it is probably the ballast resistor, she can really backfire(the RR not the other half!)

Hi Kev,
A bit of a late reply but, Yes, yes it was. I was heading to a mates place near Braidwood for a bit introduced species ventilation. Sorry but I don't use a CB, havn't felt the need for one yet. Did the west end of the Bendethra track Sun arvo, a no brainer, just have to watch for the idiots chewing the place up. I thought you might post but I have been a bit busy, not to mention the lingering flu I came home with! BTW, the left seat decoration is Sonia, my long suffering girl. At least she has stopped closing her eyes when things get bumpy.
