Reading a few threads about this one, it looks like she might intensify quickly. I assume members down in the Pilbara have everything tied down by now!

We're driving to Broome tomorrow so have a bit of interest in what happens. Right now it's beautifully cloudy and cool with a little rain.

Looks like it might have skipped past Broome.
I just got an e-mail from one of the boys up on Cockatoo and they haven't stopped work. A little bit "breezy" he said, but no real sign of anything to worry about where they are.
We might get a bit of rain down here in Kal though looking at that track forecast. I'm off out to mow the lawn and throw a bit of fertilizer on it before the weather gets here.

It won't hit Broome, (er, probably), but even so the winds can get pretty interesting. She looks like she's still thinking of where to go next:

Davo, check out my Oz cyclone chaser post. Apparently, storm surge is the worry, depending on when it hits land, Bob

Wind is starting to get up and it is still 300km away. It will probably cross closer to Port Hedland than Karratha and the media are making up stories already.

:D I've found the media to be the last resort for information these days. These guys are better: Severe Tropical Cyclone Christine (95S) Timor Sea - NW WA - Weatherzone Forums (http://forum.weatherzone.com.au/ubbthreads.php/topics/1226518/23)
