Traveling home the other night along this great Highway-One of ours, I heard a loud metallic PING, This usually involves a rock off the bonnet or windshield. Though this one was particularly loud.
Had a look in the morning, no new bits of bonnet showing or any more stars to look at,,
I then noticed some wires hanging down from behind the blinker in the bullbar,
I then noticed there was no longer an orange lens,
I then noticed there was no longer any blinker,

The question is,,
will this be a LR part?,
an ARB etc part?,
or a hella part?

Go and see whoever made the bullbar. You suggest ARB. I would expect that they have a supply of lamps that they use. Alternatively, have a look at the other one. If it is a Hella it will be identified as such and will have a part number stamped into the lens as well as a seperate part number for the body. Hella part numbers are in the format #.####.##. I have a Hella cattledog and a quick leaf through it doesn't show anything that would look like what I remember ARB blinkers to look like.

It is possible that the lamp assembly is a Hella item but the lens is custom. Try Narva as well ( I don't have one of their cattledogs but they are on the web).

Had the same problem with my ARB Bullbar, the blinker lights were set into the bullbar with offset brackets behind the bar, when I approached ARB they told me that although the bullbar was manufactured by them it was made for OEM supply and the blinkers were supplied and fitted by others, consequently at this stage I am unable to get a duplicate and will have to fit an alternative by altering the mounting.

I just taped up the holes with 100mph tape and don't worry about them.

But then my '85 model doesn't need them

NARVA make an indicator lens and a parker indicator combination to suit bullbars. They cost just under $20 per lens. My local autobarn store didn't have them in the catalog and I had to get the part number from Narva so they could order it. That was about 10 months ago when they were just released. They might be in the current catalog. They're a good unit. All plastic, so they seal well and don't corode, and they use globes instead of festoons.

Hope it helps.

I've posted a photo of the NARVA park / indicator in the gallery. I think I paid about $18ea for them and that included the globes!!!. Narva also make an indicator only version.

Go to page 8, in the Michael2 album. I've had trouble uploading images, otherwise it would have been up while the topic was still fresh.
