It was with great delight that we were having lunch at the cafe in Uki in northern NSW when a D4 pulled up across the road.
The driver got out and came over to get some lunch from the cafe.
I always acknowledge Landy owners and I think it is that which sets us apart from other marques...anyway I said gidday to the guy, thinking that he looked familiar, adding that we are two kiwis who bought our D3 over to Brisbane three weeks ago and are touring around.
With that he went inside then came back...You aren't Graeme are you? and that is when the penny dropped...It was Mark (WhiteD3) from Brisbane who was out and about in the border country between NSW and Queensland and was the same guy who lent us a spare rim for our D3 when we did the trip to Cape York two winters ago.
Small world indeed and although he wasn't able to stay for lunch with us it was great to meet him again and this meeting just epitomises the camaraderie that exists between Landy and Forum members.
Thanks Mark and hopefully we will meet up ..on the road again!
