Lonely, but beautiful. The people there seem to have everything they need.

awesome but unfortunately like many small islands on the decline - over 300 in the 50's, 62 now, and I guess in a few years nothing but memories

Like many small inland towns and hamlets in Australia that were once thriving communities. Without thinking too hard Muttaburra, Gladfield, Llangothlin come to mind. Others that had populations of 3,000 up and were busy viable communities are now down to around 1,000 or less and the reduced population can no longer support many services.
