I'm thinking of setting up a time lapse camera beginning just before the sun goes down, a bit hazy tho.

Not sure Kincoppal Girls School would be happy for some bloke with a chainsaw lobbing into the playground!

(You could always suggest that you're crew for the "Spyforce" TV series production, but late for your shift.)

Happy new year Lou & Ian...yes the fireworks are always top class. The Foti family who have conducted the NYE fireworks for many years are the very best.

Hope to catch up soon.

Cheers, Erich & Sheila

Happy New Year Erich & Sheila

The Foti family do the fireworks, but the bridge lighting and the lasers around the Opera House are done by our member and his crew.

A great lidless eye that sees all surrounded in fire. I think that rings true.... :)

I think the graphics were different for the 9.00pm show and the midnight AEDT show. The image above was the 9.00pm, but I'll ask what they were officially unless he comes in first.

The greenies are watching the fireworks. As well as the EPA !!
check this out 2011 Sydney NYE = 134 Tonnes Co2 into the atmosphere

I heard 300 Tonnes of fireworks were used this year, and it all went into the atmosphere.

Where are the greenies:twisted:?Looks like it's OK to pollute if you're letting off fireworks. Greenies are very quiet aren't they!!
