Very impressive to watch live. I saw it at Earl's Court in 1992, I think it was. Great atmosphere.

Prior to emigrating I went to the very Last ever Royal Tournament, I think it was 2000'.

I was working at the Ministry of Defence then anyway in Whitehall.

Was always very Impressive seeing Naval Artillery gun race......

Like many I always thought It a shame when It was stopped due to cutbacks . Funny I was watching It on You Tube not that long ago . Those boys have my total admiration , super fit , super tuff ..

I love right at the end when they are telling one sailor he isn't fit enough one of the PTIs is smoking a roley. Must be the 70s.

Not normally the brightest , but certainly dedicated. The type you want when the **** hits the fan, usually frowned upon in a peacetime service, with budget constraints. Absolutely necessary in times of War. Bob

Reminds me of the L5 pack howitzer gun races we used to have in the RAA. Another thing that has disappeared.
